Learning to Use a Moodle - The following was provided on a CD for all that attended the recent From My Classroom to Yours Conference at Richard Stockton College of NJ

For those that are new to the process of creating a Moodle things can seem a bit of a monumental task. Hopefully, the tutorials and tools included on this CD will help get you started. Tools You Can Use -
Below is a list of tools used for creating this site:

  • Moodle v. 1.8 - Minimium Requirements Apache, PHP version 4.3.0, MySQL version 4.1.16 (All included with Wamp5 Server installation)
  • Wamp5 Server - Will install above and allow you to manage everything within one program
  • ipodcast Module - A sample downloaded Module
  • SmartFTP client - A free FTP client for educational use
  • DynDNS - Use to create a webaddress from your home IP Address
