In this session, you'll get a chance to get started gamifying your classroom. You can utilize ClassCraft for classroom management and send your students on a quest that incorporates lessons.  You will have the opportunity to explore the basic and premium features of ClassCraft.

The students walk into class, immediately get seated, and are ready to get started!  That is the day and each period when ClassCraft is a part of your everyday routine. In this workshop, attendees can get started with ClassCraft by creating their own basic account. Participants will see how ClassCraft easily integrates into Google Classroom, which makes it even easier to set up students and incorporate it into your daily routine.  You will walk through the various components, such as the daily event and how students can gain or lose XP, GP, and HP.  Students are placed into teams and utilize teamwork to progress through the levels of ClassCraft.  It is a great way to teach students responsibility and take a leadership role in the classroom.

You will also see how you can set up a Quest incorporating your lessons or study unit.  Students will venture through a maze of missions in order to successfully complete their quest.  Want to review with students? Set up a Boss Battle, which is a fun way for students to review individually or as a team in the classroom. Need to choose a team or individual to answer a question or complete a task? Go to the wheel of destiny. Do you want a timer to give students a heads-up as to how much time is left? Timing people? How loud is your classroom getting? See the added features with ClassCraft, as you learn how to incorporate ClassCraft into your classroom.

Let's Work Together On Your Project

Nothing is worse than attempting to bring new ideas into your classroom and not being heard when seeking assistance. The crucial part is to clearly understand what you're looking for in the first meeting, in person or by video conference. Make sure you are being heard and not just offered some cookie-cutter approach. And remember, your first meeting is free!
